Create, relax and have fun from 10-11:30am

Service Description
AUTUMN TERM 4 1 session 7 November During this session your child will be making origami with origami artist/ teacher Toshiko to add to the community festive window displays of local cafes and may get to choose one to take home. Details of which cafe your child's origami is in will be sent once the displays are up in mid November. All materials provided. Responding to the creative needs of children and young people in our local community we are launching our first club for those who are home educated. Whether it be a personal choice or they are unable to attend school we are here to support them creatively in a calm, fun and inclusive environment. These are in person sessions. Trial sessions are only available for the first session per block. Please email Anna -hello@freshartclub.co.uk for further information. What to expect The club takes place on Friday mornings from 10-11:30am during term time, with a soft start, 30 minutes of free draw to allow children and young people to arrive and settle in with minimal time pressure before we start the project. The term is divided into project blocks of 2 or 3 sessions where we aim to complete a project. If at any point the child or young person cannot attend a session, we will try our best to provide catch up materials/ guidance for them to complete at home before the next session. Inclusivity Any items needed to support can be brought such as headphones, earplugs, cushion, blanket, fidget toys, coats and hats can stay on. Leaving the activity for a break at any time is fine. Can a parent stay? If your child or young person requires you to be present to support them emotionally or physically we can accommodate this.
