Service Description

Try your hand at screen printing on fabric using acrylic colours with a range of prepared screen designs. In this workshop you will print your own cotton tote bag and add new life to an item of clothing from home. Notes: clothes must be 100% cotton and could include t-shirts, shirts, scarves, jeans and sweatshirts. Artist-Printmaker Josie Blue Molloy will introduce you to the screen printing process and support you through printing colourful abstract shapes onto fabric. Josie is a London-based printmaker and educator who recently completed the second year of a prestigious Printmaking Fellowship at the Royal Academy. This is an 18+ event, suitable for beginners and up. **PLEASE BRING AN ITEM OF CLOTHING FROM HOME**, otherwise all materials are provided. CURRENT COVID SAFETY MEASURES: • Tables will be 1m apart and we’ve capped the number of people in the workshop at 15 for the moment. • Masks are not mandatory but are encouraged. • Upon entry you will be required to sanitise your hands and sanitiser will also be provided inside for use as and when. • Tables and materials are sanitised before the workshop.
