Service Description

AUTUMN TERM 3 3 sessions 8th Nov - 22nd Nov Responding to the creative needs of children and young people in our local community we are launching our first club for those who are home educated. Whether it be a personal choice or they are unable to attend school we are here to support them creatively in a calm, fun and inclusive environment. Please see FAQ section for welcome videos of the location and inside the venue. During these 3 sessions we will create a realistic snowy landscape with trees and beautiful sky. We will be watercolour resist painting and mark making. These are in person sessions. Trial sessions are only available for the first session per block. Please email Anna -hello@freshartclub.co.uk for further information. What to expect The club takes place on Friday mornings from 10-11am during term time, with a soft start and end of 10 minutes either side of the hour to allow children and young people to arrive and leave with minimal time pressure. The term is divided into project blocks of 3 sessions where we aim to complete a project. If at any point the child or young person cannot attend a session, we will try our best to provide catch up materials/ guidance for them to complete at home before the next session. Inclusivity Any items needed to support can be brought such as headphones, earplugs, cushion, blanket, fidget toys, coats and hats can stay on. Leaving the activity for a break at any time is fine and other parts of the venue can be accessed as long as another group isn’t using it. Can a parent stay? If your child or young person requires you to be present to support them emotionally or physically we can accommodate this.
