Service Description
SUMMER TERM 1 session During this project your child will learn how to tie their items to achieve different effects and then dye them in their choice of colours to create their own unique items. Please bring your own items to tie dye. They need to be 100% cotton white or light coloured, new or to upcycle. Responding to the creative needs of children and young people in our local community we are launching our first club for those who are home educated. Whether it be a personal choice or they are unable to attend school we are here to support them creatively in a calm, fun and inclusive environment. These are in person sessions. Trial sessions are only available for the first session per block. Please email Anna -hello@freshartclub.co.uk for further information. What to expect The club takes place on Friday mornings from 10-11:30am during term time, with a soft start, 30 minutes of free draw to allow children and young people to arrive and settle in with minimal time pressure before we start the project. The term is divided into project blocks of 2 or 3 sessions where we aim to complete a project. If at any point the child or young person cannot attend a session, we will try our best to provide catch up materials/ guidance for them to complete at home before the next session. Inclusivity Any items needed to support can be brought such as headphones, earplugs, cushion, blanket, fidget toys, coats and hats can stay on. Leaving the activity for a break at any time is fine. Can a parent stay? If your child or young person requires you to be present to support them emotionally or physically we can accommodate this.
