DAY 1 - 29th August

MORNING: 9:30am -12pm

6-8yrs String Art

Run by Funky String Art Founder Laurie O'Garro. Learn how to create a geometric design on card using colourful threads.

9-12yrs Picasso inspired abstract portrait

Run by FRESH Art Club Founder Anna Bhowmick. Your child will learn a little about Spanish artist Pablo Picasso and then create their own abstract portrait in his style using a variety of art materials.

LUNCH: 12pm-1pm

All age groups.

AFTERNOON: 1pm-3:30pm

6-8 yrs Yayoi Kusama inspired pumpkin tote bag

Run by FRESH Art Club Founder Anna Bhowmick. Taking inspiration from Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama and her dot covered pumpkins, your child will learn a little about her, then create their own tote bag using fabric paint and POSCA pens.

9-12yrs Photography

Run by Iga Koncka from The London Lens Project. Each child will have the opportunity to develop photographic skills while exploring their environment and having fun.

9-12yrs Keith Haring inspired tote bag

Run by FRESH Art Club Founder Anna Bhowmick. Taking inspiration from American street/ pop artist Keith Haring and his colourful characters, your child will learn a little about him, then create their own tote bag using fabric paint and POSCA pens.

DAY 3 - 31st August

MORNING: 9:30am -12pm

6-8 yrs Sun Catchers : creating stained glass inspired panels

Run by practicing artist Fiona Grady. Using transparent coloured vinyl on acetate panels, your child will experiment cutting out shapes, arranging colours and working with patterns to create playful artworks that will project colourful shapes into their room when light travels through them.

9-12yrs Pete Cromer inspired mixed media animal

Run by FRESH Art Club Founder Anna Bhowmick. Taking inspiration from Australian artist Pete Cromer, your child will your child will learn a little about him, then choose one of his animals and create their own version. Then, using various materials they will fill it with colours and shapes observed in his work.

All age groups.

AFTERNOON: 1pm-3:30pm

6-8 yrs Pete Cromer inspired mixed media bird

Run by FRESH Art Club Founder Anna Bhowmick. Taking inspiration form Australian artist Pete Cromer, your child will learn a little about him, then draw one of his signature birds and fill it with colours and shapes observed in his paintings using various art materials.

Children should wear appropriate clothing, we can get messy so old clothes should be worn. We do not provide aprons and art materials can stray from time to time!

Children should bring a healthy NUT FREE packed lunch and snacks for the day, named water bottle and coat/ jacket.

PARKING

No carpark,  the roads nearby are permit parking at some times otherwise it's free outside of those. There is also paid parking nearby.
