DAY 1 - 26th July
AFTERNOON: 1pm-3:30pm
6-8 yrs Sandra Silberzweig inspired abstract portrait
Learn a little about American artist Sandra Silberzweig and then create their own abstract portrait in her style using a variety of art materials.
9-12yrs no dye - tie dye + customise a t-shirt
Run by Design-it-Yourself Founder Toyah Hemmings. Learn how to alter and style a tired t-shirt* and create a Tie-Dye design without dyes!
*Bring a clean, white, new or tired cotton t-shirt or vest to the session.
DAY 2 - 27th July
AFTERNOON: 1pm-3:30pm
6-8 yrs DIY spray painting + t shirt yarn accessory making
Run by Design-it-Yourself Founder Toyah Hemmings. Learn how to upcycle a tired t-shirt*, turn it into yarn and finger knit accessories, then learn how to make your own ‘DIY-Dye’ to decorate and embellish!
*Bring a clean, white, new or tired, cotton t-shirt; any size, any condition.
9-12yrs Andy Warhol inspired dog portraits
Taking inspiration from American pop artist Andy Warhol and his colourful screen prints, your child will create a dog portrait of their choice using watercolour paint, pen and oil pastels.
DAY 3 - 28th July
AFTERNOON: 1pm-3:30pm
6-8 yrs Gustav Klimt inspired bubble tea art
Taking inspiration form Austrian artist Gustav Klimt, your child will learn how to draw a buble tea cup and fill it with shapes, symbols and patterns observed in his paintings using various art materials.
9-12yrs pop art tote bag + DIY rucksack
Run by Design-it-Yourself Founder Toyah Hemmings. Upcyle a tote bag into a Rucksack using a no-sew technique, create a design inspired by pop art artists Andy Warhol and Romero Britto and paint with fluorescent UV fabric paints!
Children should wear appropriate clothing, we can get messy so old clothes should be worn. We do not provide aprons and art materials can stray from time to time!
Children should bring healthy NUT FREE snacks for the afternoon, named water bottle and coat/ jacket.

No carpark, the roads nearby are permit parking at some times otherwise it's free outside of those. There is also paid parking nearby.
