DAY 1 - 26th July
MORNING: 9:30am -11am
6-8 yrs no dye - tie dye a t -shirt
Run by Design-it-Yourself Founder Toyah Hemmings. Learn how to bring back to life a tired t-shirt* using the Tie-Dye technique without dyes!
*Bring your own clean, white, new or tired cotton t-shirt, vest, leggings or socks to the session
9-12yrs soap resist painting
Run by FRESH Art Club Founder Anna Bhowmick. Taking inspiration from American artist Jackson Pollock, your child will paint their own abstract background on canvas using acrylic paint, then using a resist technique and some spray paint your child will create their own abstract expressionist work of art.
YOGA & MINDFUL LUNCH: 11:30am-12:45pm
All age groups.
The perfect way to spend lunchtime between art sessions.
Run by Kidsyogaflo Founder Emma Hoddy, your child will enjoy 30- 40 min engaging in fun and creative yoga followed by mindful “lunch”. We will provide calm activities that children can enjoy during the lunch session. For example making mandalas from flowers, leaves, shells etc, weaving using grasses and leaves, creating pictures and patterns using resources or just chilling looking at a book or free drawing.
DAY 2 - 27th July
MORNING: 9:30am -11am
6-8 yrs neon dot art
Run by FRESH Art Club Founder Anna Bhowmick. Taking inspiration from Aboriginal art, your child will create a piece of art using neon painted dots and various materials.
9-12yrs DIY t-shirt yarn accessory making
Run by Design-it-Yourself Founder Toyah Hemmings. Learn how to upcycle a tired t-shirt*, turn it into yarn and finger knit accessories, then embellish with beads!

MORNING: 9:30am -11am
6-8 yrs pop art tote bag
Run by Design-it-Yourself Founder Toyah Hemmings. Customise a tote bag inspired by pop art artist Andy Warhol, and paint your design with fluorescent UV fabric paints!
9-12yrs KAWS inspired cartoon silhouette art
Run by FRESH Art Club Founder Anna Bhowmick. Taking inspiration from American artist and designer KAWS and his 'Outlines' collection, your child will create their own cartoon silhouette and fill it with KAWS style shapes, colours and symbols using various materials.

Children should wear appropriate clothing, we can get messy so old clothes should be worn. We do not provide aprons and art materials can stray from time to time!
Children should bring a healthy NUT FREE packed lunch and a snack, named water bottle and coat/ jacket.
PARKING
No carpark, the roads nearby are permit parking at some times otherwise it's free outside of those. There is also paid parking nearby.
